My first racebike. The Vitus 979 is a very lightweight racing bicycle, it's thin wall alloy tubes being glued and screwed onto alloy lugs. The result was an extremely light frame, perfect for climbing, but maybe a little flexible for sprinting. This particular bike is finished with Shimano 600 components, Mavic wheels, and Scott 'drop in' handlebars.
